Pilotage Tariffs

(023 8048 8800) or the Marine Administration Manager, at the VTS Centre, (023 8060 8204), or can be downloaded below.
The new Pilotage Charges took effect from 1st January 2010.

Fuel Adjustment Mechanism
As per the notified fuel adjustment mechanism, fluctuations of +/- 20% in the average fuel price paid by Associated British Ports for pilot launch operations may result in an adjustment to the pilotage tariff.
Original Base Fuel Price (OBFP) = 32.2 pence per litre (excluding VAT and Duty). This being the average paid for the year ended 30 September 2009.
For information the average fuel price paid for the last 6 months (1 Oct 2009 to 31 March 2010) was 33.8 pence per litre. Therefore the tariff remains unchanged
